Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) helps transform the lives of first-time mothers and their babies. Registered nurses make regular home visits and provide moms with the care and support they need to have a healthy pregnancy, provide responsible and competent care for their children, and become more economically self-sufficient.

Pregnant women are enrolled through the end of the second trimester and receive 64 home visits over a 2.5-year period, until the child's second birthday.

NFP is designed to improve prenatal health and child functioning, improve family functioning and economic self-sufficiency, and prevent child maltreatment in the first two years of life.
